OVERFLOWING EMOTIONS

쏟아져 흘러넘치는 감정들

좌우가 다른 색을 가진 스니커즈.

그 위로 더 다양한 색들이 쏟아져 내리는 모양은 지극히 개인적인 시각과 감정 상태를 담고 있다.

서로 다른 색의 왼발과 오른발은 각각 ‘한 명의 아티스트’와 ‘지극히 평범한 한 사람’으로서의

자아를 표현하고 그 위로 흘러내리는 다양한 색들은 이 두 자아가 느끼는 같지만 다른 감정 상태를 보여준다.

그때그때 느끼는 감정들은 세상을 다양하게 바라보고 표현할 수 있는 새로운 방법이 된다.

유난히 고민이 많은 요즘, 최애 밴드의 노래 속 ‘쏟아지는 맘을 멈출 수가 없을까’라는 가사에 

그야말로 중독되어 있는데 이 노래를 접한 후 ‘RUDYINDAHOUSE 에디션’에 대한 시각이 많이 달라졌다.

이 에디션을 디자인하고 제작했던 시점에는 명확한 주제와 이야기를 찾기 어려웠다.

하지만, 내가 느끼는 다양한 감정의 시각들이 해체되고 흘러넘칠 듯 켜켜이 쌓여가는 과정을 거치면서

 ‘SEVEN EIGHT UNDER X RUDYINDAHOUSE 에디션’은 비로소 이를 담아내는 작품이 되었다.

Showered with a variety of hues, the mismatched colors 

on the left and right reflect deeply personal views and emotional states.

Each side symbolizes the 'artist' and the 'ordinary person' within, 

showcasing the similar yet distinct emotions experienced by these identities 

- the ever-changing feelings that offer new ways to express oneself and view the world.

Recently, buried in introspection, I've become obsessed with the lyrics of my favorite band's song, 

"Can't stop the feelings from pouring out."

These words profoundly shifted my perspective on the 'RUDYINDAHOUSE Edition'.

Initially, it was challenging to identify a clear theme or story for this edition, 

but as layers of diverse emotions and perspectives unfolded and accumulated,

the 'SEVEN EIGHT UNDER X RUDYINDAHOUSE Edition' evolved into 

an artwork that genuinely encapsulates these processes.
